SCRIPTURE:
“Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.” — 1 John 3:2
God has called us His children and has given us the Holy Spirit to shape our lives into the image of Christ.
Jesus is our perfect example. Throughout His life, He demonstrated humility, compassion, forgiveness, and unwavering obedience to the Father. He always placed the needs of others before His own and showed unconditional love to everyone He encountered. As we follow His example, we gradually develop these same Christ-like qualities.
Growing to become like Christ is a lifelong journey. It requires daily commitment to prayer, obedience to God’s Word, and surrendering our own desires to His will. Although the process may not always be easy, God faithfully works within us, transforming our hearts and minds day by day.
Therefore, let us remain committed to becoming more like Jesus. Let us rely on His grace, trust His transforming power, and live each day with the joyful expectation that when He returns, we shall be like Him because we will see Him as He truly is.
